So, you want to change the world to be a better place?

 We do too.

Does this sound like you?

You have an idea that may be a simple way to help those in need but, you need that extra push to get started and your schedule is packed not allowing you to have the time to gather all the pieces and information you need to launch your idea. Deep down you know if you could get everything in place then you will make it a success. You only need someone to help you get started.

That’s where Project Good Work comes in helping people who want to launch social impact projects, charities, and change-making initiatives.

We work with individuals like you who have big hearts and even bigger dreams and goals. If you are tired of sitting on the sidelines and watching people and the planet in pain, we feel you. There is a lot of problems and pains that need attention, and we are always astounded by the way people want to step-up and help make a change.

Like you, we have big hearts and want to do something that will start pushing things in the right direction, so that more people will get the help they need, enjoy life a little more, and appreciate where they live and come from.

You have an idea that will make a difference.

We want to contribute to the movement of breaking down barriers towards improvement; in the workplace, for children, for women, for the poor, for education, for healthcare, for the environment, for injustice, and society.

Let’s work together to take the first step to launch your project.

In the workplace

200 million young people are either unemployed or have a job but live in poverty.

One in five young people are not in employment, education or training. Three out of those young people are women.

Almost two out of five young workers in emerging and developing economies live on less than $3.10 (U.S. dollars) a day.

Roughly seven-in-ten (71%) believe that workers will have to improve their skills more often in the future in order to keep up with job-related developments.

For Children

The share of U.S. children living with an unmarried parent has more than doubled since 1968, jumping from 13% to 32% in 2017.

About 15,000 Children under 5 years old still die every day.

3 in 4 Children aged 2 to 4 worldwide experience violent discipline by their caregivers on a regular basis.

1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty.

For Women

Women in all places and all races have felt the effects of harassment, sexual assault, being left behind and held back.

Women who want to work have a harder time finding a job than men. This problem is particularly marked in Northern Africa and the Arab States, where unemployment rates for women exceed 16%.

There are still many people who believe it is unacceptable for a woman to have a paid job outside the home: 20% of men and 14% of women globally, to be exact.

In 2018, women earned 85% of what men earned, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of median hourly earnings of both full- and part-time workers in the United States. Based on this estimate, it would take an extra 39 days of work for women to earn what men did in 2018.

For the Poor

Nearly 1/2 of the world's population — more than 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.

More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day.

More than 750 million people lack adequate access to clean drinking water.

Diarrhea caused by inadequate drinking water, sanitation, and hand hygiene kills an estimated 842,000 people every year globally, or approximately 2,300 people per day.

For Education

97% of low-income students rely on school for internet access, but 40 million students do not have high-speed Internet in school.

Only 1 in 4 high school students graduate college-ready in the 4 core subjects of English, Reading, Math and Science.

In the workplace, 85% of current jobs and 90% of new jobs require some or more college or post-secondary education.

For Healthcare

Almost 4 out of 10 Americans are morbidly obese and over 7 out of 10 are overweight.

By 2030, America will have at least 40,800 unfilled posts for physicians.

300,000 premature deaths a year in the United States can be attributed to obesity.

Black women are 3 to 4 times as likely to die in childbirth.

For the Environment

110 million Americans live amongst such high levels of air pollution, the federal government considers it to be harmful to their health.

A large study has found that up to one half of all plants and animal species on dry land could face extinction by the year 2050 due to global warming.

According to the World Resources Institute, 100 species die each day due to tropical deforestation.

9 million tons of plastic enter oceans every year.

For Civil Rights

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, one in three black men can expect to go to prison in their lifetime.

Once convicted, black offenders receive longer sentences compared to white offenders.

Between 2007 and 2010, Hispanic families’ wealth fell by 44 percent, and black families by 31 percent, compared to 11 percent for white families.
